weekend oddity

I was listening to Billie Holiday & Louis Armstrong -"I may be good for nothing, But I'm still your sweet hunk of trash" - caught my attention, that would be fun to illustrate. Check out this dude (Could you take the Peep challenge?) OR- bid on this Rock that is selling for 5600.00 on EBAY.. *Update* My brother in law was admitted to the hospital due to his Jaundice condition, We all hope it is just Gallstones, and nothing very serious. It would help if all good thoughts can be sent to him!!

Happy Easter weekend y'all. Posted for the first time @ Photo Friday. (now thats a crowded site!) Ive updated my store. Easter is my 5 year anniversary w/ my baby, but he's in S. Korea.

(Click to Enlarge) Well I made it. My second consecutive year I've been accepted to the Undergrad Art show. This is the piece thats been chosen. Im pretty excited to be included again, but wouldn't have been that upset if I wasn't. The show opens 4/1/05 and runs till 4/19/05. Not to mention today is my MOMS birthday! I hope this is a quasi-gift to her in a way.. (ps. the coffee house had SNICKERDOODLE as today's flavor!) MY FAVORITE!

All Alone

With my baby in S. Korea, I sit up till 1 am doodleing us. (CLICK HERE) to watch me doodle. This is us... I miss us... p.s. We are cool.

Fragile

(Click to view larger) (Im submitting this for Ill Friday- "Fragile" -Mainly cause im dreading tuesday's critique. I haven't been able to gauge my work much in our class critique feedbacks. 'Fragile' would be a good word to describe how I feel during them, apparently I am very self-dubious) Sunday:1am and left studio, I started this at 4pm Sat. afternoon, its not finished but Ill post it. (44x28 oil on canvas) Last day of spring break. whoo hoo. (later Sun.) Went to the movies, saw Robots, Neighbors Snowman greeted me @ home. Take this test! (I got 2 Wrong)

Hair Adjustment

my roots have dignity now... My goood friend Cortney joined me for dinner and helped me color my hair! I love it and she did such a great job. Kev took off for Korea this morning, and the house seems so quiet. (and big) I cant wait until he returns!

This week I'm on spring break, This is what I left at school. (Sketch and final)
I hope to paint durring the week. We shall see. .. If anyone would care to give some feedback that would be handy. Yesterday I ordered 3 Books, they are on their way to my front door. John Currin, Lisa Yuskavage and Vitamin P. (Cant wait)
