Catherine Murphy was at our college to give a lecture. Her work is inspiring and insulting to a learning student. She is a Contemporary Realist that works on paintings for many years. Her work in breathtaking and so realistic. This is just a doodle I drew while she they were setting up for her speech,. Today I gave my 2 year old Nephew some luke warm coffee w/ the donut I brought him. He liked it- and then wanted more,- and then he literally ran in circles. It was fun to watch. Mom's have the life.

My Mini Goal

I have goals, some large - some small. But this is a mini goal of mine. I will be using all of my energy to save up money towards my next vehicle. I have recently been putting some money away and its been feeling good. As I commute from school to home I 'road shop' for what would be my ideal next car. I have really taken a liking to the Mini Cooper 05 Convertible CVT. I built this one on there really neat website.

Okay so I enjoy shopping registries just as much as the next person. You get to buy newlyweds or parents-to-be the essentials they will need and use for years to come. You feel great watching them open those pots and pans or flatware knowing that through the years of use, you are helping them make great memories. (Click to view) Ill Friday "Escape". Something I would like to do shortly. School is bogging me down and pulling at every ounce of me. Work sucks hard (& not in a good way). I can not wait to vegitate over our October jaunt to Florida for a wedding, Rub my feet in the gulf coast sand and chill like a pimp. ;)

Gas confusion.

Im not going to complain about Gas Prices like everyone else in the free world that owns a vehicle. Yet, I have to bring to attention the odd experiece I had while filling up @ HESS. The LARGE sign reads 3.22 Unleaded grade. I PULL IN - this is a deal compared to the MOBIL or STEWARTS. There are signs pasted all over the pump, by the time I get the nozzel in my car I realize the sign that says 3.22 CASH and 3.29 Credit. (due to the credit charge) HOW MUCH DOES THAT SUCK! I wonder how long it will take before all stations revert to this crazy policy. - as i drove away with my expensive gas i thought- if this was always the case.. Ive always been getting discounted gas with my debit card vs. those who pay with cash! SWEET!

National Disgrace

Donate - It seems as though the government is lacking in Water and food for those that were effected by Katrina. I wonder how they can not drop a pallet of water, aid or food. How can we not bail them out? How are we eager to help other countries, but not our own? I set up a link for those who care to donate to the Red Cross. Although the government has not supplied any food or water in a morning show interview Bush stated there is zero tolerance to any looting - that includes drinks and food for the elderly and children. Insane. *UPDATE* - Visit this page on MSNBC and click on the link for Kanye West off the Script. - what is he thinking?
