Black Friday

As if I wasn't stupid or insane enough, 21 days until graduation I experienced my first day working in RETAIL. I now work PT at a local department store just for some extra Holiday cash. I havent finished my training yet. I hadnt even touched a register until they threw me on the floor with Black Friday shoppers. It wasnt aweful, but I have to say- I am stilll learning. If the customer has a question - I have a question too. There is a sweet discount benefit that I hope to take advantage of for the shopping season. But for now I hope I dont loose my mind from pissed off customers. TIS' THE SEASON!

Feedback from the Masses

"a person that asks a stupid question is only stupid until he has an answer, the person that doesn't ask questions - is stupid for life." With that said, we have recently had some hilarious conversations at my house. For instance,

  • "How would you describe the sound you hear in your head when eating coconut?" sounds dumb right? but you try to describe it.

Also, last night while we were out at a local Moe's we listed to some interesting songs while contemplating our imaginary future child's name. (Ill mention this later.) While eating burritos we listed to INXS we found many parallels to the band U2. I mentioned that INXS's song Meditate reminded me of U2's Numb. You take a listen and judge:

p.s. our child will be blessed with the name Fabio Tsatsu (pronounced cha-Choo) Nicholi Rachmananoff. We haven't decided on a middle name yet.... LOL - Yeah you can say we were in hysterics for a while.

Time is flying.

Yesterday I got hired on the spot to a local department store to hold me over for the holidays. Not having a job is disturbing, although I "work" full-time on my student teaching with overtime, but the end is approaching and I would like to work come 12/14. We will see how it goes. It seems as though there is no time for anything. I am 3 components away from mailing off my Masters degree application. Where did those undergraduate years go?
